The alcohol is in the aroma’s essence but not as much in the flavor, which is fruity (melon + lemon). A little astringent on the palate. TheEpeeist (1444), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

Yeasty lemon-orange; light spicy floral. Thick carb, buttery body. Sweet and sour honey melts away leaving tart, dry ginger pith. 10% well hidden. chef201atc (249), Weatherford, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 17, 2007 Slightly cloudy, golden colored pour with a huge fluffy white head. Nose is floral with a generous amount of Belgian yeast coming through. Mouthfeel is a touch more substantial than I expected – nice. Flavor is spicy, yeasty, and bread-like. Wow – 10% alcohol, covered well. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 17, 2007 Bottle sampled. Pours golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma of fruit, sweetness, belgian spices, belgian yeast, and citrus. The flavor is sweet, fruit, spices are present, citrus, and a smooth, but present alcohol kick. Very nice. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

I carried this back all the way from Belgium, only to see it locally a few weeks later. Very much like a tripel. A big beer, but very easy to drink. Aroma has considerable yeast and fruit. It reminds me of Tripel Karmeliet. Flavor has salt, but also sweetness from sugar and fruit, and light spice. I do get a little coriander and just a hint of citrus. A very nice looking beer, with a cloudy gold color and tall white head. I am impressed by this brewery. Skyview (4019), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

I have to find out how they got this past TSA Security. Pours a very cloudy, light orange brew with a thick white head. Lasts a while too. Aroma of lemon peel, sweet seeded fruit, citrus hops and a touch of vanilla. Taste is a good balance of sweetness and dry malt. Maybe a slight acidic but a crisp and full body finish. Alcohol is a bit over-board - Woo hoo! I’m finished for the night. BDR (2154), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

A cloudy yellow pour with nice thing head. Liked the sour nose on this one but it had some rough alcohol on the nose that detracted a bit. Sweet apple and wheat body that reminiscent of Tripel Karmeliet
