KnutAlbert (3108), Oslo, Norway May 2, 2007 A rather sweet ale, smooth with a subtle spicy aroma. Easy-drinking, pleasant, but not outstanding. zathrus13 (1288), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA Apr 29, 2007 Gold, with a large, white head. Aroma is hops, spices, and some citrus fruit. Flavor is spices, yeast, fruit, with some alcohol. Decent. hophead75 (1945), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Apr 21, 2007 almost clear golden in color, with heavy carbonation and a big long lasting off white head. Aroma is honey, sweet malts, and light spices. Taste is honey, sweet malts, metallic notes, and light spice. the metallic really ruined this one for me. holdenn (1431), Chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 17, 2007 Bottle. Light yellow color with a white head. Very light aroma of hops and citrus fruit coming through. Citrus malt flavors that are balanced well with sweetness, alcohol, and pepper spice. A decent brew. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Apr 15, 2007 Updated: Apr 16, 2007This pours a clear, very pale yellow body with lively carbonation and a dense, fizzy white head. It smells of sweet pale malts, hot spices, yeast, and a lemon twist. Very lively and peppery on the tongue. It’s a crisp Champagne-like drink with the malty sweetness retreating beneath the lemon and pepper flavors. A touch of funkiness makes it all that more interesting. Nice crisp & dry finish.
