Pours with a golden body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. It’s sweet and spicy with some malt, and a little yeast. Medium bodied, tingly and warming.

Poured a hazy gold color with a huge white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of lemon cream, vanilla, yeast, spices, and grassy hops. Taste of lemongrass, citrus, yeast, honey, pepper, and light alcohol.

Golden hay color with a rich, white head. Yeasty, banana aroma. A great looking beer for sure. Just an amazing beer. Sweet and sticky bananas lightly spiced with pepper.

This beer has a super mellow flavor. It’s dry, yeasty, slightly citrusy, and bitterness sneaks in on the aftertaste. Relatively thin palate. Interesting, but not really my style.

(Bottle 25 cl) Orangey golden with a huge and rocky head leaving lots of laces.Very solid and potent brew with lots of malty sweetness balanced well by a good, flowery hop bite. Typical notes of yeast and alcohol. Decent if not exactly thrilling. 090402

RBSG 2005. Tight white head, hazy-orange golden color, but some floaties on top. Tart sour nose with yeast. Reminds me of Brut. Smooth, somewhat yeasty mouth of oranges and barnyard. Warming alcoholic finish.

Candy-like, marzipan sweetness in the aroma with herbal, grassy, citrus, lavender and floral hop notes that appear at different times as it warms. Opaque, yellow meringue-like body with low, fizzy, white head that recedes to partial cover. Candy-like maltiness to the fairly yeasty, alcohol saturated flavour with very agreeable herbal hop character and moderate finishing bitterness. Medium-light body with moderately strong and lightly prickly carbonation. Strong alcohol warming. Bottle at RBSG’05.
