Slayer85 (582), Firenze, Italy Jan 28, 2009 750 ml bottle. A cloudy light amber, deep golden beer with a huge and persistent white head. The aroma is nicely hoppy and malty with notes of pepper, citric fruits, grass and some fruitiness. Quite complex and lightly alcoholic aroma. The flavour is very sweet but harmonious, with a peppery spiciness and again citric fruits. There is also a light acidity. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, long finish with medium bitterness and not much alcohol. Nice and very drinkable for its strenght and at the same time enough warming. fidel (882), Livermore, California, USA Jan 25, 2009 Pours hazy golden yellow, fruity, spicey, yeasty, little candied sugar, little alcohol, slight hop finish. AgentSteve (1334), SF Bay Area, California, USA Jan 19, 2009 Pours golden with an off white head. Nose and flavor are sweet and estery with some spice and candied sugars. A bit thin in the body. alobar (1005), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 4, 2009 Cloudy golden yellow color harboring some orange hints with a tall white head. Serious scent of yeast on the nose. Rich flavor of yeast, honey, spice and alcohol. Actually a bit, hot on the end. Not bad. TaxiDriver (908), Stadland, Germany Dec 31, 2008 Bottle. The light smell of yeast, a little bit sweet, a rather light aroma for a beer with 10 % ABV. It has a rather small white creamy head with a normal duration. The body is cloudy and orange. The first taste is light bitter, then it gets a little bit more sour and fruity with a quite long duration. The body is medium, dry and fizzy with a lot of carbonation. That’s a nice Malheur...
