I wasn’t too impressed with the 12, but was pleased with the Malheur 10. Pours a nice gold color, lightly hazy, with a white towering head that has been beaten to stiff peaks by the time it goes from the bottle to the glass. Aroma is lightly sweet and yeasty. Flavor is champagne and alcohol up front, with a yeastiness in the finish. Mouthfeel lingers on the back of the tongue.

Bottle. Pours gold with a fluffy white head and some lacing on the glass. Spicy with cloves, candi sugar and yeasty sweet cake aroma. Quite bready and sweet in flavor. Yeasty with a little alcohol showing at the end. Very light in the mouth, lots of carbonation.

Bottle 0,25 l. Hazy cloudy pale yellow, biggish fluffy white head. Nose has malts, marzipan, citrus, hops, honey. Flavor is intense. Malts, lot’s of aromatic hops, flowers, some marzipan and citrus, maybe peach. Slightly bitter and tart. Very nice and tasty. Positive surprise. Fizzy bottle conditioned mouthfeel.

Bottle from By the Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Cloudy honey-copper body with a wispy whitish head. Sweet, sticky, boozy, banana, apple, clove, lemon nose. Carbonic prickly front that changes into a dry sweet, boozy, chewy, apply finish. Assertive mild bitterness. Slight tart bite. Gnarley and bright. A bit too carbonated for my liking.

Wow. This beer was an awesome surprise. Lemony, citrusy, bread, and apple in the aroma. Superb malt flavor with a great sweetness to it. Lots of carbonation with some left over. Pours a slight hazy gold with color with lots of exuberance in the head. Great golden ale.

Bottle shared with GregClow, Hogtown Harry, Jerc, Blankboy, and Garthicus, courtesy of Harry. HAzy lemony yellow, small foamy white head.Odd caramel, hint of lemon, malty aroma - weird. Good taste - very lemony, zesty, lots of alcohol. Good, refreshing (at 10%!).

750 ml 02/2007 bottle split in Westmalle glass. Hazy straw with lasting flat white head. Spicy citrus lemon bread yeasty aroma. Subtle honey sweetness with medium ripe melon peachy fruit enticing underlying hop bitterness and spicy dry finish. Nicely complex. Wow. This is just how I like them. No alcohol presence in flavor. Medium body, effervescent carbo texture. Nice mouthfeel. An excellent beer and a new fave. No excuses, I just love this. What a great surprise.

(Sample at September 12, 2008 Beer Club Meeting) Pale and very cloudy orange color. You can tell this is a Belgian just by lookinbg at it. Its aroma sweet and spicy, much like a wit in a way. Its flavor is sour and musky, making my tongue swell a little as the sweetness creeps beneath it. For some reason this beer reminds me of puppy breath.
