(Rating #1814)

12-oz. Pours crystal clear golden with a towering, sudsy platinum blonde head. Big lemon and grass nose, a little bit of green apple there. Medium body, tingly carb. Lots of bread on the mid-palate, along with those lemon and grass notes. Bitter coriander finish. Lovely stuff.

Hazy bright orange-gold with a thick merangue-like cream coloured head that lasts forever! Very yeasty and fruity aroma, champagne-like mouthfeel with tickly fine carbonation. Sweet and acidic, bready and a little biscuity, some orange and pear fruit. Absolutely terrific!

Courtesy of the BeanDip-s, thanks guys. It pours hazy gold with yeasty floaters and white head. The aroma is complex and melded with age. I get tartness, lemon, hay and yeast. Wow, yep, a wow type flavor. Lots of blended fruitiness from dark fruit and berries mixed with muted banana and mild hidden away lemon. It ends up somewhat sugary and slightly dusty. Very nice.

Gusher at The Penguin in freshly acquired £1 La Guillotine tulip. Ridiculous, uncontrollable Himalayan pour towering with froth. Superb enticing fresh hop and yeast aroma, suggesting marmalade, oak, houmous and lemon/lime jelly. Shit. Can you wring this kind of citrus out of Belgian hops?? Spruce, marmalade and pale nutty notes like a GA eisbock; big alcohol, but savoury flavours that make it irresistable. Little bit of warm. Really balanced, well-hopped, unsickly tripel/BSA it’s hard to pick fault with.

Attractive white head, yellow body. Curious nose with a yeast note. The alcohol is in the aroma’s essence but not as much in the flavor, which is fruity (melon + lemon). A little astringent on the palate.

330ml bottle from Bottleworks; Nose is yeasty, citrus, and allspice with a tiny tart note; hazy gold with a huge pale golden head: Flavor is light spiciness, a funky note, and lightly sweet caramel; interesting brew.

330ml Bottle: Aroma of alcohol, slight citrus, slight hops, yeast, honey, and slight funk. Poured yellow/orange/gold in color with a small white head that lasted throughout. Very hazy. No lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of yeast, honey, pale malts, slight alcohol, and earthy hops. Medium body. Chalky texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, slight alcohol and honey finish.
