Aug 21, 2008 The aroma is honey-like and malty with yeast, fruit, and hops. The appearance is deep gold with a very large head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall very refreshing.

Nov 20, 2006 (Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Golden yellow/orange colour with a huge, but brief, white head. Slightly hazy. Fruity nose with distinct notes of apricots, mandarin and spicy hops. Fruity taste as well, with apricots, citrus, oranges and a hint of marzipan. Huge and powerful taste with a serious dose of spicy, peppery hops in the finish. Full bodied. Obviously there is some sweetness but overall the hops dominate, turning the finish into a rather dryish pleasant joy. A real beauty.

Aug 20, 2002 Well ’Good Olde Malheur 10’, I have a two plus year old just plain ’Malheur’ aging away (We will see how I rank them later this month). Cloudy lemon yellow color, the head is quite frothy, XXXL in size, slightly off white, the lace in large sheets. Nose is citrus, malt, slightly ’perfumy’, somewhat sweet. Front ’If I can ever get past this head’ is sweet, the top is light, the finish is ’Vinous’, slightly sour, quite dry, acidic, a fair hop presence, and a decent drinking beer. Ranks a respectable #395 on my current 1000 beer master list.

Dec 31, 2007 Bottle. Hazy, pale orange colour with a big, white, creamy head. Aroma of yeast, orange, honey and coriander. The flavour was sweet with some melon and spice and a decent bitter finish. Good.

May 15, 2007 Cloudy orange amber body with a large frothy white head. Sweet fruity aroma with some sugary spice. Sweet spice, caramel, fruit and sugar flavor.

May 21, 2008 [1152-20080301] Bottle. Peppery lemony yeast wheat aroma is sweet. Clear, bright yellow body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Sweet vegetable wheat flavour has some grass, banana and sweet spice. Medium body is a little peppery. Interesting, quite fair.

Sep 16, 2008 Bottle shared with GregClow, Hogtown Harry, Jerc, Blankboy, and Garthicus, courtesy of Harry. HAzy lemony yellow, small foamy white head.Odd caramel, hint of lemon, malty aroma - weird. Good taste - very lemony, zesty, lots of alcohol. Good, refreshing (at 10%!).
