Bottle shared with GregClow, Hogtown Harry, Jerc, Blankboy, and Garthicus, courtesy of Harry. HAzy lemony yellow, small foamy white head.Odd caramel, hint of lemon, malty aroma - weird. Good taste - very lemony, zesty, lots of alcohol. Good, refreshing (at 10%!).

Appearance: Pours a hazy blonde body with a huge, long-lasting white head. Smell: The bright aroma is flowery and certianly lemony, but there’s also a pleasant yeastiness to it. Taste: Initially, a sweet pilsner malt taste with a light, honeylike sweetness and notes of zesty lemon and apricots. Only very minor hints of banana and apple. A nice hit of spicy, peppery hops along with a hint of ginger in the finish. Lemony, hoppy aftertaste. Oh, and with each sip, the beer grows evermore spicy and warming. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation. Nicely warming. Drinkability: For a 10% abv brew, this beer goes down exceptionally easy. Especially in the middle of August.

From bottle at ’t Brugs Beertje. Great aroma with perfumy notes and light honey. Little bit of hops and some candy sugar. Fairly standard tripel aroma, though it’s a Belgian Strong. Medium amber-golden hazy body with creamy white lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts sweet with musky grain. Nice alcohol warming. Tasty with light chalky after. Sweet and smooth.

Bottle. Had an odd fruity and a barnyard ammonia aroma. Gold body with white head. Fruity peach flavor along with some dry bittering. Leaves the palate dry on the finish.

Smells like apples. Juicy and crisp. Good stuff, crisp and biting, it has a sweet flavor, but one that goes down smoothly. Eminently enjoyable!

Also very good, but not as great at the Malheu 12% (see rating). Sour dough-like nose. Hazy pale blond color and a lacy head. Juice-like tastes up front yielding to a fresh hoppiness in the end. Thinish, but a high quality beer.

Corked bottle. Pours luscious and vivid cheddar orange, with nice carbonation, active yeast sediment, and a beautiful crowning head of white that leaves a beautiful latticework of lacing around the glass. Aroma is mixture of coriander and orange that leaves a zesty zing along the olfactory path. Nice raisin/honey blend initially on the tongue, followed by a faint floral hops note. Touches of yeast tingle the taste buds. Full, slimy mouthfeel that leaves a lingering note of sourness on the tongue. Definite repeat.

Fruity orange aroma. Nice orange color with hints of green, leggy. Taste intervalls between hops and orange. Light bitter aftertaste. Nice.
