Some sediment. Yellow, medium head. Traces of fruit in the aroma, not much. Alcohol and some spice (pepper?) is present in the flavor.

0.33 l bottle. Golden color, foams over vigorously. Vanilla, clove, cardamon, cinnamon, pepper, raisins, solvent and tequila in the aroma. Sweet, malty and berryish flavor with sharp alcohols, pepper, raspberry and some sour fruitiness. The alcohol note is too sharp and overpowering.

Pale gold with a light haze, nice carbonation. Aroma distincltly bready, not much else, looks like a yeast bomb. Flavor introduces some lightly peppery spice, more bread, almost straight up yeast, and faint bit of honey sweetness. Didn’t get any of the fruit characteristics mentioned by many others. Having said that, enjoyable overall.

Thanks to JK and Katie, who carried this bottle back from Belgium. A cloudy yellow pour with nice thing head. Liked the sour nose on this one but it had some rough alcohol on the nose that detracted a bit. Sweet apple and wheat body that reminiscent of Tripel Karmeliet

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden-orange body with a medium white creamy head and soft lacing. The aroma is strong of apple yeastiness, dough, and liberal spiciness. The flavour is extremely doughy and yeasty with some notes of sweet fruit and then leaving some sharp tartness. Very spicy and warm in the finish. Deceptively easy to drink with layers of complexity. The alcohol only shows up as it warms up. Very good. Sampled at Le Zageman, Brussels on May 9, 2006.
