| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Took ages to get the damn cork out, then i finally did, it spewed out all over my carpet and coffee table, drenching a harmless runner....Pours a sunrise dull orange...head is good, has healthy foam pool..Lacing is up to the task...Taste is alright, sweet and mellow, but maybe too mellow- seems to lack any assertiveness or true deep character!..could be very nice if more effervescent or i can see it being better on tap possibly?... all in all:
A nice easy beer that would be perfect for a novice or if you are in the mood for a small Belgian beer (that being said, the alcohol is quite well masked!)... good offering but.."seems a bit shallow and pedantic" plovmand (1688), Helsinge, Denmark

The nose is citrus, oranges, yeast, spices and sweet honey. Flavour is very much the same with some hoppy finish. Sprinkling carbonation. Overall its a great well crafted strong ale. theisti (1661), Leawood, Kansas, USA

Pour is cloudy golden with a wonderful fruity earthy aroma. Taste is really nice, very spicy Saison flavor with a nice big alcohol profile. I had no idea this was 10% when I was drinking it, oh my goodness, so smooth. Thanks again Michael, you are a great Ratebeerian. Bart (1636), Brussels, Belgium
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2006 A hazy yellow colour with an average white head. Some carbonation. Rather yeasty malty aroma, spicy and fruity. Full body somewhat creamy. Finish is bitter, with an alcoholic touch and a dry ending. This is not one of my favourits. jerohen (1613), Bussum, Netherlands

Tried it at the12 hour Belgian beer partyin Carlsbad, CA. Possibly the best beer tasting ever, with 70 bottled rare and expensive beers and 20 on draft. 7474,14:3.6
Tried again as a sample from alohaC at the Pizza Port bottle shop. A Belgian triple-ish. Some corriander in the aroma. Leans sweet. A little over carbonated. Mixed small and microbubbles. Delicious. 8,4,8,4,16:4.0
