Good malty/hoppy aroma with yeasty and biscuity hints. Alcohol is very well hidden. Well balanced malty/hoppy taste that carries coriander, yeasty, and fruity notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Good stuff. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA

Golden color with a nice fluffy head of white cream. The aroma is pretty mild, sweet, creamy, spicy, yeast. Attractive but mild. The flavor is smooth, well-blended, toasty and spicy. Pretty nice, easy drinking ale of Belgian character. Incredibly easy to drink for a 10% Belgian. tomthompson89 (1489), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 24, 2007 Body is a light golden color. Head is explosive with retention. It reminds me of shave cream. Aroma is floral, fruity, and sweet. Flavor is citrus, bready, and acidid. It is sometimes sweet citrus and other times the citrus is tart. It is a bold flavor but a smooth and sweet one. Alcohol is clearly present and provides warming. A very nice beer on a Winter evening. jkwalking05 (1485), Arlington, Texas, USA

Yeasty lemon-orange; light spicy floral. Thick carb, buttery body. Sweet and sour honey melts away leaving tart, dry ginger pith. 10% well hidden. Jokes (1453), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 13, 2004 3/01 on the cork. Clear amber body with a fluffy alabastor head. Sharp, intense nose is fairly sweet with a strong hop presence. Sweet honey, piney hops, tart apples and light flowers. The body is fairly full and with a strong carbonated bite. The flavor is good, but difficult to grasp. It seems to me that the beauty of most Belgians is the interaction of the malts and the yeast, with hops providing a nice balance. Here the hops try to dominate. Piney bitter hops slowly take over sweet, fruity malt. A bit of grain toward the end as the hops start to fade. Warm and relaxing, but just a bit out my preference zone. dchmela (1452), Orlando, Florida, USA
