Oct 30, 2004 750 mL, 2/01 cork; Best Before 29.03.03 (sampled 30.10.04): explosively popping cork removal, as the beer breathes before pouring a small chimney of white bubbles pokes through the top of the bottle…cloudy orange pour with a wonderfully large, full white head; creamy and tightly bubbled, regal. Wildly intense aroma that almost screams of funky Belgian hops. Sweet citrus notes, tart fruits and yeast tingle the nose. Pointed alcohol wraps up the tongue, amazing it wasn’t more evident in the aroma. After moving past the alcohol, a funky fruitiness arises and a wild funky yeast is unleashed. Bitter hops dominate the rest of the palate, flavours and finish, this one leaves me feeling warm and relaxed, but it wasn’t quite as enjoyable as I expected.

Jul 21, 2007 Bottle. Pours gold with peach highlights. Nice aroma of honey, flowers, peaches and apricots with a hint of yeast. On the palate a rich sugary sweetness gives way to a unique yeast sourness. Very fizzy and lively carbonation.

Oct 26, 2007 Thanx to Beandip for sharing at Tampa Gathering.Poured a golden straw color with a nice lacing head.Nose was sweet with alcohol and a slight hint of spices.Honey , wheat and bananas on the flavor.finish was sweet with alcohol as the same way as started.

Apr 27, 2003 Bottle, from jbrus. The main word that comes to mind when thinking of this beer is S-P-I-C-E, and I'm not talking about a sattelite TV channel. Golden color, huge head. Spice, Luby's rolls, and yeast all prominent in the flavor. Dry, clean finish that leaves you wanting more. Nice!!

Sep 6, 2004 Bottle Fizzy, white head - mostly diminishing. Excellent lace. Sparkling, yellow body. Hoppy (pine) and yeasty aroma. Medium to fully bodied. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish. Some vinifar in the flavour too.

Jul 26, 2005 RBSG 2005. Tight white head, hazy-orange golden color, but some floaties on top. Tart sour nose with yeast. Reminds me of Brut. Smooth, somewhat yeasty mouth of oranges and barnyard. Warming alcoholic finish.
