Hazy amber under a large rocky island off white head generating some nice lace. Final sediment splodge forms an amazing swirling dark inverse mushroom cloud as it slowly descends through the beer as a 5mm thick layer. (this shows you really need to hold beers up at eye level to check them out). Celery, that ’tangy thang’ that smells like powderd chicken noodle soup, faint fresh fruit, sharp hops, alcohol and pig farm manure yeast. Medium strong body. Flavours are a liquid rendition of the aroma with added strong bitter leaving the palate somewhat unbalanced. A bit (not a lot) more sweet would have helped considerably. The only flavours really competing with the high ABV are the yeast and bitter. I dunno I didn’t get any fruit in the flavour that other raters seem to get. I was expecting a bit more from this one and overall I have to say I was somewhat disappointed.

I had trouble getting this one to stop foaming. Gold color, slightly hazy, with a frothy white head. Floral aroma, rich in yeast and light Belgian candi sugar. Flavor is dry, some from the hops but mostly from the alcohol. Dry finish.

Bottled. Beer is slightly murky light gold with a large/huge, frothy, white, diminishing but lasting head.
Malty with light notes of toasted grain, cracker; Moderate (hint peppermint) herbal lemon—slightly vegetal; Yeasty with moderate notes of basement and barnyard, light note of dough; Moderate spicy alcohol, trace of vanilla extract.
The flavor is moderately/heavily sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter with a long, warm, moderately sweet, trace acidic, lightly bitter finish. Alcohol is very stealthy.
The body is full, the texture is velvety and the carbonation is lively.

A clear yellow/orange colored beer, with a nice bubbly white head. Aromas of hop and flowers. fruity and a bit of lemon. There is also some coriander. A very strong taste of spices and hop. It’s peppery. You taste the alcohol. there is a bittersweet after taste. A very good beer.

Had the pleasure of pouring this with theisti. Nice golden color with cloudy white head. Nose is great mix of coriander and orange. Taste is this great blend of honey, floral flavors and some nice spice notes...along with some minor hops. Drinks really well. Cheers theisti!

Bottle, relatively fresh.

Pours a nice gold, fluffy head, plenty of floating matter. Nice spicy belgian yeast aroma, dry, orange zest, a drop of honey. Lovely tripel-style taste, lots of honey flavor but not overpowering sweetness by any sense of the imagination, turning to a nice hop-driven close. Plenty of that spicy yeast, the beer is another herb-garden-in-summer delight, honeybees buzzing around, sunshine beating down, full but not sticky on the tongue, very little sign of the 10% alcohol.

I’m quite positively impressed. This one surpassed expectations by a nice margin.

Wow. This beer was an awesome surprise. Lemony, citrusy, bread, and apple in the aroma. Superb malt flavor with a great sweetness to it. Lots of carbonation with some left over. Pours a slight hazy gold with color with lots of exuberance in the head. Great golden ale.
