Bottle. The light smell of yeast, a little bit sweet, a rather light aroma for a beer with 10 % ABV. It has a rather small white creamy head with a normal duration. The body is cloudy and orange. The first taste is light bitter, then it gets a little bit more sour and fruity with a quite long duration. The body is medium, dry and fizzy with a lot of carbonation. That’s a nice Malheur...

I wasn’t too impressed with the 12, but was pleased with the Malheur 10. Pours a nice gold color, lightly hazy, with a white towering head that has been beaten to stiff peaks by the time it goes from the bottle to the glass. Aroma is lightly sweet and yeasty. Flavor is champagne and alcohol up front, with a yeastiness in the finish. Mouthfeel lingers on the back of the tongue.

Purchased from the offy next to Buggenhout station. Golden with a fluffy white head. Nose of hops and yeast. Hoppy corriander taste with notes of yeast and lemon. Salty with a fizzy medium body. Average

Very effervescent, to the extent that it gets in the way of the flavor a bit. Alcohol is somewhat harsh, as is the bitter spiciness, almost like a spicy lemon rind or some such. There is a decent sweet malt flavor under there, but I think it might take a bit of aging before this could be a really well-rounded beer.

Very blonde. Very big long lasting head. Extremely perfumed an soapy aroma, like at a womens hairdresser... A bit dusty saloon too. The alcohol is well hidden and it’s dangerously easy to drink. Plenty of CO2. However, the alcohol and some sweetness comes through in the aftertaste.

The Millennium. What am I missing here? Pretty, golden beer with some hoppy aroma. But I couldn’t find the hops in the beer itself; they were drowned in sweet honey then overwhelmed by alcohol. Dryness was welcome, but beery flavors were hiding from me.

Thanks alot Mike! Hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma of toast, banana, yeast. Wine/grape flavours are impressive. Alcohol is ever present. Lemon, banana, traces of chocolate and hop. Very perfumey. Liqour, licorice, spiced finish.

Malheur Millenium. Heavy malty aroma. Creamy white head. Excellent lacing. Cloudy light yellow body. Heavy bitter initial flavor.
