Well ’Good Olde Malheur 10’, I have a two plus year old just plain ’Malheur’ aging away (We will see how I rank them later this month). Cloudy lemon yellow color, the head is quite frothy, XXXL in size, slightly off white, the lace in large sheets. Nose is citrus, malt, slightly ’perfumy’, somewhat sweet. Front ’If I can ever get past this head’ is sweet, the top is light, the finish is ’Vinous’, slightly sour, quite dry, acidic, a fair hop presence, and a decent drinking beer. Ranks a respectable #395 on my current 1000 beer master list.

Sparkling honey beads floating on a milky alcohol pond...Yeast-tinged meringue over a pear and peach pie...Combining the qualities of many a Belgian style (funkiness, creativity, strength, nobility, rigor, heat) and thus making a very enjoyable evening sipper...

RBSG 2005. Tight white head, hazy-orange golden color, but some floaties on top. Tart sour nose with yeast. Reminds me of Brut. Smooth, somewhat yeasty mouth of oranges and barnyard. Warming alcoholic finish.

Bright, fruity aroma, light clove-like phenolics, mild graininess.Slightly hazy pale golden color, big, long-lasting white head. Crisp flavor, nice balance of fruitiness and light malt, a little spicy from the yeast profile. Medium-light body, very high carbonation, dry finish; very drinkable, if you don’t mind a few burps. A really nice Belgian blonde that I would classify as a classic example of the style - it’s not over the top, but very enjoyable and highly drinkable.

gusher, dark yellow is opaque with yeast bits stirred up by the gushing, frothy white head, lots of lace, same sweet spicy bready aroma and flavor, sweet bread flavor combined with the spices and creamy body is like a sweet spiced sponge cake,

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden-orange body with a medium white creamy head and soft lacing. The aroma is strong of apple yeastiness, dough, and liberal spiciness. The flavour is extremely doughy and yeasty with some notes of sweet fruit and then leaving some sharp tartness. Very spicy and warm in the finish. Deceptively easy to drink with layers of complexity. The alcohol only shows up as it warms up. Very good. Sampled at Le Zageman, Brussels on May 9, 2006.

Bottle - Hazy orange/yellow color with a huge rocky white head. Citrus fruit and spice aroma. A zesty, yeasty fruity flavor. Excellent beer with perfect level of Carbonation.

Corked and caged bottle with a best before end date of 01-02--09. Large fizzy white head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, visible carbonation, hazy, and a yellow hue. Nose was spicy, sweet, malt, yeast, lightly and fruity. Flavor was malt, fruity, sweet, mildly vinuous, refreshing, spicy, and a hint of sourness. Mouthfeel was tingly and somewhat oily. Medium in body. The ABV was not over-the-top in the taste of this beer, it was easy and delightful to drink, worthy of a try, and hopefully this one will come my way again some day because I definitely enjoyed it.
