Pours to a cloudy orange yellow, full of suspended yeast, and a thick white head that dissipates quickly to akay lacing. Aroma and flavor are a wild mix of citrus fruit, cotton candy and bubblegum, with a smooth, yet short finish.
For 10% alcohol, I never noticed any of it in either the nose or taste, but did provide a slight kick after finishing. Definitely different, but not bad. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA

A trace of pepper and just a little bitter on the exit. Beerdedone (1888), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 25, 2007 strong carbonation with a golden triple like appearance. flavor has a sweet tangyness to it that finshes with a spicy alcoholic character. the final taste is a little dry and takes away from the overall experience because it lacks the depth. a good strong ale, but not top of the line Oakes (8166), Kowloon, Hong Kong
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2002 Opaque light orange colour; thick, creamy head considering how much alcohol this has; aroma shows orange, melon, alcohol, spice (thyme, mint, anise); firm body; yeasty, malty palate, dry from alcohol, more fruit (apricot, pear). I love the yeast-fruit interplay. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
