This was a good belgian strong ale. It was a little more overpowering than some of the others i have had but it was decent in its own right. Glad i tried it, probably wont pay the money for it unless i can grab it on tap.

(on bottle)Hate the label, but what a great example of strong ale. Humble, but right-on champagne and barn sent. A very alcoholic mouthfeel, along with great yeast esters. Somewhat stick, sugarish finish, and finally the malts kicks in. Very straight product.

Dark orange color, very cloudy appearance. Little white lasting head. Citrus, fruity aroma with medium alcohol. Flavor has fruity start with citrus tones, ends with too strong alcohol. Mild tones of some spices in aroma. Medium to full body.

Bottle. Had an odd fruity and a barnyard ammonia aroma. Gold body with white head. Fruity peach flavor along with some dry bittering. Leaves the palate dry on the finish.

Clear golden color with a fizzy head. Malty sweet cotton candy and and citrus aroma. A malt driven taste is sweet cotton candy with oranges and spicy yeast. Finish is lightly bitter. not too bad. 12117

[bottle from magic_dave6] pours orange yellow colour with a large but quickly collapsing head. Nose is yeasty with some fruits, apricots, plums, a little cherry with faint peppery notes in the background. body is fizzy with a little dryness in the aftertaste.

Hazy amber with a very nice head. The aroma is sweetish with notes of fruit. This goes for the flavour too, and here I find even more notes of fruit, citrus mostly. It has a nice hoppy bitterness to balance the sweetness. The alcohol is IMO a bit too dominant, especially in the last part of the flavour.

Cloudy orange with a thick head. Yeasty aroma with some sweet malt. A lot of alcohol in the taste with a surprising dryness. A bit too fizzy at first, but I found this was a beer I appreciated more and more with every sip.
