It was a little more overpowering than some of the others i have had but it was decent in its own right. Glad i tried it, probably wont pay the money for it unless i can grab it on tap. Humble, but right-on champagne and barn sent. A very alcoholic mouthfeel, along with great yeast esters. Somewhat stick, sugarish finish, and finally the malts kicks in. Very straight product. This goes for the flavour too, and here I find even more notes of fruit, citrus mostly. It has a nice hoppy bitterness to balance the sweetness. The alcohol is IMO a bit too dominant, especially in the last part of the flavour. hughie (3076), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England

A lot of alcohol in the taste with a surprising dryness. A bit too fizzy at first, but I found this was a beer I appreciated more and more with every sip.
