yespr (8539), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 10, 2007 Updated: Oct 12, 2008 25 cL bottle. Pours deep brown/black with light brown head. Aroma is fruity (plum and raisins), hops, coffee and malt. Taste has the same in a wineous blend - and what a perfect blend! Fruit, coffee and wineous are the keynotes that I would put to this beer. I have a new favourite!

TheBeerOrg (1416), Kentucky, USA Dec 30, 2008 Pours dark brown with a mostly reeding wispy tan head. Tastes of brown sugar, rum, banana, and bubble gum. Mouthfeel is full bodied and lightly alcoholic with lush carbonation. jujubeast6000 (589), Houston, Texas, USA Dec 15, 2008 Reviewed 12/15/2008 (bottle dated 25.10.10):
Pours a very dark reddish brown color body. Small off-white head head, quickly diminishing. Funky smell, sour. Dark fruits.. Creamy mouthfeel, some fizziness. Dark fruit taste Some dark chocolate/coffee taste. Some alcohol warmness. bhensonb (3221), Woodland, California, USA Dec 12, 2008 Bottle, c&c. BBE 15.10.09 Dark ruby color with a frothy tan head. Aromas of dark fruit, darkish malt and maybe some hop florality. Medium plus body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is prune, date, candi and dark malt. No impact of heat. Seems a bit dusty. Finishes dry and slightly astringent. Very nice sipper. Ethereal (1167), London, Greater London, England Dec 7, 2008 Great ruby look. Fruity aroma, usual Belgian flavours but not as complex or full-on as the classic 12s.
