Pours a deep dark brown with a huge tan foamy head. Aroma of caramel, plums and wheat. Tases of spice, dark fruit , butterscotch, alcohol. Many different aromas and tastes. This is very nice.

0.75l - Random buy. Licorice and smoke followed by spice. For some reason didn’t expect it to be quadrupel dark. Good times.

Pours dark brown with a mostly reeding wispy tan head. Tastes of brown sugar, rum, banana, and bubble gum. Mouthfeel is full bodied and lightly alcoholic with lush carbonation.

Bottle, c&c. BBE 15.10.09 Dark ruby color with a frothy tan head. Aromas of dark fruit, darkish malt and maybe some hop florality. Medium plus body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is prune, date, candi and dark malt. No impact of heat. Seems a bit dusty. Finishes dry and slightly astringent. Very nice sipper.

Great ruby look. Fruity aroma, usual Belgian flavours but not as complex or full-on as the classic 12s.
