From bottle. Sweet grain aroma with honey and orange peel, mild yeast and a light tang. Pleasant nose on this with some light candi sugar. Golden yellow clear with thin white foamy lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts sweet with lots of candi sugar, mild carbonic acidity, a light chalky finiah with sweet after taste and underlying chalky bitter character. Bit of citrus in there, too. Nice ale.

A 0.33L bottle tasted at Kaisla. Pale head. Pale yellow colour slightly hazy. Mild fruity nose. Soft fruity taste. Slightly hard finish. Hoppy bitterness at end. Mild spicey taste. Not too sweet.

Light blond colour, light foamy head. Aroma very fresh with a little zesty hop coming through. Slightly sharp flavour with a refreshing floral hop bitterness.

At De Heeren Van Liedekercke
Hazy golden color, small creamy head. Delicate malt aroma and flavor, the flavor is a bit spicy, the aroma is mellow, creamy; light elderflowers. Good.

(33cl bottle, Malheur 8) Hazy, golden coloured and effervescent hue with a thick blond foamy head. Sweet malty, slightly bready and yeasty aroma with spicy herbal and slightly floral hops. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a pleasant, slightly crispy carbonation. Malt-accented base with herbal spice from the beginning; increasing bitterness by hops and yeasts towards the dry and quite lasting finish with a moderate alcoholic burn. Another good Malheur brew with present hops profile (26.IV.09).

Draught @ Zythos 2009. A little hazy yellow colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma is malty with hops and fruits like orange. The taste of dry bitter hops, with malts, notes of fruits and flowers. The aftertaste has some bitterness.

Bottled@Duvel Cafe, Stockholm. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is quite earthy, slightly fruity and yeasty. Flavour is toffee, fruits, yeast, some slightly burning notes of alcohol. Wellbalanced and quite pleasant. Toffee grows as the beer gets warmer. Becomes more kickass when the yeast is poured in.

Bottled at Internationella Pressklubben, Stockholm. Cloudy orange, creamy head. Fruity orangey nose with almondy yeasty caramel underneath. Sweet and soothing, creamy and piney. Medium bodied. Under the creamy surface lies a spritz champagne-like carbonation. Finishes drier with notes of pears. An elegant, soothing beer.
