albertane (300), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England May 27, 2008 Cask at Fellows Morton & Clayton, Nottingham. This pale beer has some pleasant citrus and floral hop characteristics, but it’s too watery and the flavours are not full enough. maeib (3997), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Jan 10, 2008 Cask conditioned - handpump - Fellows, Morton & Clayton - Nottingham. A pale gold coloured beer with a thick white head and lacing. The aroma has citrus hops through the head although that sparkler problem has returned. The taste also has light citrus notes. A too creamy texture but drinkable enough. Rastacouere (5337), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 23, 2007 Frothy, rocky white head tops the hazy golden body. Herbal, minty and fresh bouquet with wild flowers and bulky malts. That’s well integrated! Fresh angel cake, cream and straw notions punctuate the casual breadiness. Well crafter ale with plenty of flavours gotten from basic ingredients and at an easily sessionable strength. harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Jul 31, 2006 Cask gravity at The George, Bethersden, Summer BF 2006. Gold coloured beer with disappearing white head. Slightly hay/hop on aroma. Bit of lemon/lime citrus. Nice enough in mouth, astringent hoppy, tingly finish. Nice golden summer beer. haddonsman (1191), Derby, Derbyshire, England Jul 7, 2004 Cask at Fellowes Morton Clayton, Nottingham.Cloudy pour clears to a pale gold body, nice creamy white head. Served fairly cold, when it warmed through a bit there was a hint of watery fruit to the aroma, certainly refreshing on a warm summer lunchtime, good smack of hoppiness with slighty spicy fruit in the long bitter finish.
