omhper (11027), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 9, 2006 [Cask at GBBF] Hazy golden. Honey and spritzy orange up front. Fairly dry with gentle sprakling mouthfeel. Light bodied. Dominated by orangey citrus flavour. Medium bitterness. Excellent aromatic bitter! imdownthepub (4310), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Sep 30, 2007 Cask conditioned at Fellows, Morton & Clayton, Nottingham. Pale straw with white head. The best of the beers in this pub, bitter and dry with a touch of yeast and burtonisation sulpher. Quite flavoursome, citrusy, astringent and quite drinkable. rauchbier (2882), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Jun 24, 2003 Bottle conditioned. Hazy straw gold. Good white head and moderate condition. Complex and confusing mix of aromas, starts with chocolate, then some yeastiness and finally settles on cheap scotch whisky. Whisky comes back in the mouth, along with a bitterness that seems more yeast than hop. Becomes chalky and dry in the aftertaste.
