Cask at GBBF 2006. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet roasted with quite strong notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet mlaty with notes of toffee and caramel, leading to a dry bitter and roasted end.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Nice dark mild. Good grainy malts, without being powdery. Aroma of choc and coffee. Deep ruby colour with lasting thin beige head. Best session strength mild of the festival. Bit of bitterness on end.

Half pint pulled at GBBF, dark brown with some ruby hints and a brown frothy head. A fresh caramal aroma with coffee notes. A bit carbonated in the mouth and feels a little watery. Roasted and chocolate flavours with some bitterness in the finish. Got better through the glass.

[Cask at GBBF] Dark brown. Evident chocolate aroma. Dryish and light bodied with some roasty malt, tobacco and coffee. The mouthfeel is excellently soft and pleasant. Chocolatey finish with low bitterness. The best mild I had at GBBF.
