Seven different Malts give this Ale a complexity and deep dark chocolate finish. We use the finest Vermont Maple syrup in the boil to add a little extra kick as well as additional flavor.

04.23.05 On cask at TAP NY. Black with big, sudsy, brown bubbles. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, sweet tobacco, burnt tree bark. Really complex and inviting. Soft body, rich and full. Aroma smacks of sweetness balancing strong roasts. Impressively complex. Bitter finish balanced with sweet molasses. Delicious.
