Smells very warm and sweet. Deep golden body. Moderately sweet flavor becomes a heavily sweet, lightly bitter finish. Even though the taste is very sweet, the flavor comes across as being very soft…the beer is never cloying. Medium body, creamy texture, flat carbonation. The bottom line is: flavor is lacking because of its softness. argo0 (6982), Washington DC, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | May 2, 2004 Sherry-like aroma. Super pale colour. Nice dark fruit at first but alcohol was very apparent. Very thin body. Perhaps could have benefitted from further aging although that would have probably increased the oxidation. Sampled at the post-TapNY tasting session.
