Brewtopia 2004: On cask: Clear orange with a frothy head. Alcohol aroma with some port notes. Ends dry, and almost tastes like an old ale.

(Brewtopia04 -- cask) Clear amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some orange, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, orange, caramel. Finishes with a medium alcohol burn. Medium-full body. Nice sipping beer.

Caramel, toffee, butter, honey malt (H); flowery hops (M); vanilla, cask wood aromas. Smells very warm and sweet. Deep golden body. Moderately sweet flavor becomes a heavily sweet, lightly bitter finish. Even though the taste is very sweet, the flavor comes across as being very soft…the beer is never cloying. Medium body, creamy texture, flat carbonation. The bottom line is: flavor is lacking because of its softness.

Cask at Brewtopia ’04 Deep amber color with a restrained head. Aroma of malt laced with vanilla. The flavor is smooth, malty with dried fruit, but needs more intensity.

Brewtopia’04. On cask. Sweet, juicy fruit malty nose. Hints of OH. Flavor is a bit boozy, some vanilla, dried apples, mango(?). Not as thick or soft on the palate as I’d like but somewhat thin feeling...could use more carbonation or fuller body.
