<i>Comments:</i> A dark IPA with a solid malt profile, but nothing very imperial about it. I don’t think it is even dry-hopped, but still pleasant, yeasty and fruity.

Apr 17, 2007 Bottle, 6.0% in Rome. Fizzy, very big head. Very cloudy, dark brown/orange colour. OK fresh, citric hop aroma. The flavour starts off sharply bitter, then turns smoky, intended? Not bad, though. The smoke flavour disappears after some sips, making the flavour much better. Slightly yeasty aftertaste. Aroma hops do not really get through to the flavour. Quite dry finish. (Too) high carbonation.
