maxbeer (117), Italy Sep 13, 2008 The fresh, citrusy hoppy aroma is similar to that of the blonde, but maybe with some slight sweet malt tones added. In the mouth it has the dry finish and drinkability of the Blonde with some sweet caramel nuances, becoming even easier and more enjoyable. Great balance, like a a cross of Ambrata and Blonde. Very good batch to inaugurate the new equipment!

Dry hopbales; Hops, nuts and liquorice. Ends again on saltiness, an a flavour like mushrooms. Quite carbonated, medium bodied. Quite good, certainly for a prime edition. Pleasing brew. MartinT (4475), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Aug 9, 2008 My Bottom Line:
Herbal hops and comforting bready yeast swirl around fresh cereals in this balanced and very drinkable Belgian-style Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A gorgeous tower of foam rises atop the misty amber.
-The hop signature is very herbal and slightly floral, well-levelled with the rest of the proposed flavors.
-Carbonation is fluffy and increases drinkability.
-Some fruity caramel maltiness is also perceived.
-This may be a tad too yeasty in the flavor profile to completely seduce me.
-This is a special batch brewed to inaugurate the new, customized equipment which they have bought themselves. A pretty solid first try if you ask me!
-The nose faithfully announces what the flavor profile reveals.
-The herbal hop bitterness builds with each sip but remains approachable.
Bottles; best before June ’09.
