Loved the flavours of this ale. The hops they use in this ale is very delightful and refreshing. I enjoyed several of these pints at the plough in Worcester. Cheers MHB. Delicious!!

Sep 7, 2008 Cask at GBBF08. Hazy golden colour. The flavour has a little sweet fruit notes, might be pear, reminds me more of peach, but whatever. Not bad still.

Aug 14, 2008 Cask, GBBF 08. Gold, thin white head, low but fine condition. Some gentle citrus fruitiness in the nose, low chalky hop bitterness in the mouth with a gentle balance of sweet fruit, lingering flowery hop and melon in the finish.

Jul 17, 2007 Straw colour with a very short foam head. Not much scent: some grasses and sugar. Quite thin. Not bitter, just a hint of sweetness. Tastes of melons and oranges.

Mar 26, 2007 Hastily-necked dimpled pint mug at The Beacon Hotel, Sedgley. Orange-amber measure with a creamy white head and pleasantly syrupy mouthfeel. Fruity, bittersweet, leafy hoppiness. Not a sniff of pear, but who gives? Commendably citrussy juicy hop sessions.
