fonefan (6078), Ulfborg, Denmark Oct 16, 2008 Cask @ Great British Beer Festival, GBBF 2008, Earls Court, London, England SW5.
Clear medium yellow orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (060808) DruncanVeasey (1913), No. 46, Leicestershire, England Oct 9, 2008 Gravity, Solihull ’08. Musty green hop aroma. Dead and headless conditioning. Peanut husk bitterness, dusty lemony citrus, lingering intense bitterness. Not as fleshy as the Pictish, but plenty of hop presence. Dry pilsy bitterness to finish. Solid. MiP (6723), Flensburg, Germany Sep 7, 2008 Cask at GBBF08. Weak citric aroma. Hazy golden colour. No head. Good bitterness with a little sweetness and nice fruitiness. MesandSim (4713), Highgate, Greater London, England Aug 24, 2008 A Mes rate: gravicask at GBBF.
Golden brown with a thin white rim. Slight sweetness from the good malt and a nice earthy feel. The hops come through really well in the finish making it really well balanced. Not brimming with complexity but drinks above it’s strength in a good way and is enjoyable overall. Nekronos (2027), Xalapa, Mexico Aug 22, 2008 HAd it at GBBF 2008. Really goof like it says on the name. A little smooth not so bitter. NIce malty aftertaste.
