Cask Handpump at the Beer House, Manchester 24/06/2001 Amber coloured with some yeasty flavours. Bitter finish.

Cask@Red Lion BF, Isleworth, London. Pretty average, crisp and clean, slightly zingy aromatic hops, but pretty bland.

Not red at all, but named after Gilbert de Clare, a 13th century earl of Malvern Chase. This is a pale blond ale with a zesty citric hop character in the aroma and the flavour. Very crisp and refreshing. No great complexity, but a nice beer. Cask (gravity), Red Lion Beer Festival, Isleworth.
