chriso (4434), London, Greater London, England Nov 1, 2007 From the barrel at GBBF, August 2006. Very pale colour, with characteristic silvery perry tones. Quite sweet with lots of succulent, juicy fruit. Some soft skin character. I usually prefer my ciders and perries on the dryer side but this one is certainly well tasty.
harrisoni (5605), Ashford, Kent, England Jun 2, 2007 Bag in a box at Rare Breeds BF 2007. It was advertised as Uren Thorne Perry, but the sticker on the box quite clearly said Malvern Magic and given kook and maeib’s ratings, this is definitely the same perry. Very decent dry perry, lots of pear fruit, dryish finish. Good raw pear flavour with no real acetone/vinegar. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia Sep 6, 2006 Barrel (GBBF 2006): Cloudy light yellow. Simple pears with some nice sweet grapes too. Not bad. maeib (4141), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Aug 9, 2006 Barrel – GBBF. A very pale lime green coloured perry. The aroma is juicy pear with lots of flesh. The taste is nicely fizzy with great juicy pear notes. Very tasty and very easy to drink.
