Jun 24, 2001 Ditto Indra’s comments about being better than expected. Much fuller and maltier than your average African lager. I also like Casablanca Beer from Morocco as a similarly enjoyable brew.

Aug 4, 2004 This bottled brew poured a large sized head of fine to large sized white colored mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was transparent carbonated and orange in color. It had an malty aroma with a hint of orange peel in it and a medium tingly smooth mouth feel with a very light aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of mild low alcohol malt liquor that was malty and thin. This Malt Liquor would be good for people wanting an atypical Malt Liquor without the strong Malt Liquor flavor and palate

Jul 16, 2004 Bottle. Large white head that poured creamy and smooth. Fast rising carbonation, transparent and a yellow hue. Malty, sweet and fruity aroma. Sweet and somewhat hoppy flavor from start to finish. Very smooth mouthfeel. Light-medium bodied beer with decent lacing. Nothing special here with this one IMO.

May 23, 2006 Updated: Aug 26, 2006Big Bottle. Poured light golden in color with tall (quickly dissipating) white head. What aroma was there was weak and a bit skunky. Nice beer considering. Malty and sweet with a bit of bitterness thanks to the above average level of carbonation. Probably won’t have it again. Old rating from way back.

Nov 25, 2005 Pours dull and lifeless, with yellow food coloring and high carbonation. Flavor is typical skunk lager, with sour malt and lifeless hops. However, unlike most malt liquor/lagers, it’s not terrible.

Jun 24, 2001 Updated: Apr 5, 2006Nice golden color and aroma. Fairly carbonated. Has a nice, somewhat full-bodied maltiness and finishes cleanly. This beer is much better than what I was expecting! Don’t be afraid to try it.

Sep 12, 2005 Bottle. Not much to say about this one. Really not much going on here. Like the last reviewer stated, this tastes like a typical US malt liquor, which is a style I don’t particularly care for.
