First off, this beer rocks. It’s nice and refreshing, with good citrus and malt flavors, comes in a big thirst quenching bottle, and the label is just tough. One of the finest malt liquors I’ve had, which is saying a lot, as nearly all malt liquor commonly available is terrible. Secondly, this rating is from memory, as I haven’t seen the beer in the last 10 years. The reason is that the beer has been off the market. There was a slight disturbance in Ivory Coast, not sure if ya’ll heard about that commotion. They stopped making it, and the distrib in Houston bought the trademark. So, you guys reviewing in the 2000’s are either artfully examining some 10 year old dreck discovered in the back of a wholesaler’s dusty warehouse, or someone is producing an unauthorized fake. Either that, or the brewery came back with new distrib and hasn’t told the old distrib! Enjoy!

Nice golden color and aroma. Fairly carbonated. Has a nice, somewhat full-bodied maltiness and finishes cleanly. This beer is much better than what I was expecting! Don’t be afraid to try it.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of fine to large sized white colored mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was transparent carbonated and orange in color. It had an malty aroma with a hint of orange peel in it and a medium tingly smooth mouth feel with a very light aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of mild low alcohol malt liquor that was malty and thin. This Malt Liquor would be good for people wanting an atypical Malt Liquor without the strong Malt Liquor flavor and palate

Bottle. Large white head that poured creamy and smooth. Fast rising carbonation, transparent and a yellow hue. Malty, sweet and fruity aroma. Sweet and somewhat hoppy flavor from start to finish. Very smooth mouthfeel. Light-medium bodied beer with decent lacing. Nothing special here with this one IMO.

Found a bottle of this in my mail room at 2 in the morning. Drank it the next night. Poured the bottle into two different glasses. One for me, one for a friend. My glass was a lighter, dark amber. It had black chunks floating in it. His was a darker, almost brown color. From the same bottle! Very strange. Tasted decent though. It did the job...

This used to be a huge novelty beer when it was still available. I remember a surprisingly pleasent palate and good malt character. As others have said, this is very close to typical American Malt Liquors.
