Poured into a standard pint glass amber bodied brew with a good two finger worth of head that goes to a nice looking lace
The floral piney hops hit your nose first then the malts follow it up.
Flavors are a nice hop forward but not to hoppy that it makes you pucker a nice balance .A nice mouthfeel with proper carbonation for the style
An easy drinking IPA very sesionable I could easily grab a six of this a good brew all in all

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 3, 2008 Bottle shared at the CA-GA cultural beer exchange hosted by alexanderj. Caramel / tan with off white head. Aroma is old citrus hops, pretty lemony. Flavor is caramel malt, somewhat biscuity, light roast, and the same old hops. alexanderj (2280), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Bottle; pours a caramelly-orange with a creamy, off white head. Aroma was very caramelly; some grass, citrus and herbal elements Flavor had a caramel and biscuit backbone; earthy bitterness, although it was pretty minimal for the style. It was easy drinking, but just not enough bitterness to make it a good example for the style. badbeer (433), Iowa, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 7, 2008 Pours a nice, fairly clear, amber color; but with very little head and no lacing. Smell has some nice juicy citrus hops, balanced well with the some sweet caramel from the malt. This one has a very nice aroma to it, but not quite a 4.5 for me. Taste comes off a little more floral, but still retaining an excellent balance of malt and hops. By balance, I mean that hops are dominant, as it is an IPA, but the malt keeps it from being one sided. Less than medium level of carbonation, with a medium body. This is a beer that beginners can love as well as the experienced hophead. I think this would be a staple beer of mine if it were available in my area. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA

Smells very caramelly and earthy with some floral hop smells. Tastes caramelly and slightly hoppy bitter. Sweet floral on the back half. Medium body, ok carbonation. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 2, 2008 Poured an almost clear copper color with a small off-white head. Citrus and toasty and caramel malt. Citrus flavor dominates but some sweet malt gives it balance. Mildly bitter semi-dry finish. Light-medium body. Not crisp but decent beer.
