Commercial Description:
A bavarian style wheat beer that is naturally cloudy and delightfully refreshing. We named it after a local volcanic rock called pumice. So light it floats on water. Drink up and experience a zen-like feeling of lightness.

From a bottle at the UCLA game. Color was a pretty clear gold with a smallish head. Aroma of sweet malt, banana, yeast and toast. Flavor was yeasty, wheaty, with toasted malt. Not alot of banana and spice for me. An ok, but forgettable beer.

22oz bottle bought in Mammoth. Overall, probably my favorite of the bunch I tried from Mammoth. At 4.2% ABV, it’s a nice session beer with solid banana, clove and wheat flavors, a medium body and more flavor than you expect from such a light beer. Would gladly drink this regularly.

I usually don’t like Hefes, so the fact that I found this to be palatable is a little surprising. Still, not my favorite beer.

22oz bottle picked up while in Tahoe. Opaque gole with a lasting creamy white head. Nutty aroma with some ripe banana and honey. Comes together like ripe bananas and honey-nut peanut butter on bread, or maybe banana bread with peanut butter on it. The flavor is lightly sweet and bready with some very light citrus tartness and low bitterness. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel, though a bit too heavy, bringing down refreshment. This is not exactly traditional, and doesn’t really taste like anything I’ve had from germany, but it’s a pretty cool take on the style that is very drinkable.

Bottle from a little shop next to Safeway in Truckee, CA. Poured a yellow color with a slight haze. Massive amounts of lemon flavor with a hint of banana. Overall an average brew.

Bottle. Pale golden straw beer with a whitish head. Light lemon aroma with very light banana. Wheat and lemon flavor with some spice. Medium-light bodied. Easy drinking. Spice and wheat linger with some lemon and banana.
