Commercial Description:
Clear, crisp and refreshing as a High Sierra stream, our Kolsch-style ale combines a light malt body with a gently floral hop finish. German Pilsner malt and the finest domestic noble hops make this a beer of exceptional smoothness and drinkability.

I’m not really a fan of lighter beers, and this certainly falls into that category. The aroma was practically non-existent as well, which was disappointing.

Bottle. Very light citrus aroma. Thin to medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is light malt and mild citrus and grassy hop. The finish is actually grassy in a dry way. It’s mild, but flavorful. The grassiness gets a bit over the edge, but it is flavorful. I doubt that Mammoth can make an unpleasant product. The grassiness makes this a substantial, compared to most Kolsches, ale. Very drinkable.

hazy light gold, wispy white head, lightly sweet grain aroma with light floral and earthy hops, sweet malt flavor, lots of cereal character, a touch of sweet corn, well balanced with floral hops, light lasting bitter finish,

White head on top of a clear yellow. Not a whole lot of aroma. Some malt sweetness and mild hoppiness. Carbonated on the palate. Pleasant after a day of boarding but nothing special.

Aroma is slightly sweet bready malt, similar to a pilsner more or less. Pours yellow gold with a small velvetty head. Flavor is sweet bready and mildly fruity malt. There is some citrus hop presence, but it is mild. A malty sugary mouthfeel lingers, as well as some gentle spiciness. Definitley smooth and drinkable, but like the last rater said, it does seem a little heavy for the style. Definitley the heaviest beer I have had tonight.

Light aroma, a little funk. Has a spice taste to it but I can’t quite place it. A bit heavy for the style, but mostly pretty decent.

Probably their weakest and worst offering, unless you’re a fan of the style - I’d save your money. But hey, its better than Bud, Coors, or Miller . . def not awful by an means
