The aroma was practically non-existent as well, which was disappointing. bhensonb (4260), Woodland, California, USA

Flavor is light malt and mild citrus and grassy hop. The finish is actually grassy in a dry way. It’s mild, but flavorful. The grassiness gets a bit over the edge, but it is flavorful. I doubt that Mammoth can make an unpleasant product. The grassiness makes this a substantial, compared to most Kolsches, ale. Very drinkable. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Some malt sweetness and mild hoppiness. Carbonated on the palate. Pleasant after a day of boarding but nothing special. riversideAK (2723), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 1, 2007 Aroma is slightly sweet bready malt, similar to a pilsner more or less. Pours yellow gold with a small velvetty head. Flavor is sweet bready and mildly fruity malt. There is some citrus hop presence, but it is mild. A malty sugary mouthfeel lingers, as well as some gentle spiciness. Definitley smooth and drinkable, but like the last rater said, it does seem a little heavy for the style. Definitley the heaviest beer I have had tonight. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
