Commercial Description:
Clear, crisp and refreshing as a High Sierra stream, our Kolsch-style ale combines a light malt body with a gently floral hop finish. German Pilsner malt and the finest domestic noble hops make this a beer of exceptional smoothness and drinkability.

Bottle: Pale straw yellow, light head and lacing. Nose of toasty malt, biscuit and dough. Light malty, husky biscuit. A bit so-so and light and watery. Some vauge notes, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Pours with a two finger white head that fades quickly to a ring leaving traces of lace. Pale clear amber color. Very light carbonation and light bodied. Hoppy/piney nose. Starts bland and boring, hints of malt and hops but seems watery, good lawnmower beer. Glad I only bought one. $1.69 for a 12oz bottle from Hi-Time Cellars Costa Mesa, Ca.

12oz bottle (4.8%abv) poured a very clear gold color with a small white head. Aroma had some corn and sweet malt with no hops. Taste was almost like water with a touch of bitterness in the end. I haven’t tasted many beers as smooth as this one, would like to see a little more hops in this one.

12 oz bottle. Pours pale yellow with very little head. Very little head thanks to very little carbonation. The mouthfeel was very light as well. The aroma was so light it was almost undectectable. The flavor was pretty weak, but what was there was okay. Malty mostly, with some hops on the finish. I think it was definitly made not to offend.

This beer falls somewhere between ass and Labatt’s. Pours clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma is grassy and sweet. The flavor is not. It is bitter but weak. There is a nice little hop in the end that almost makes you forget the swill that preceded it. Almost.

12 oz bottle courtesy of brewer Irishsnake. Light, faintly hazy gold, huge bubble action, moderately lasting off-white head....nice solid malty nose, bit of dry caramel and citrus and a soft grassy foundation...soft, creamy, dryish mouthfeel, malty sweetness increases towards the end which seems to have hints of maple and light banana perhaps...very solid, pleasant kolsch that isn’t mindblowing but almost compulsively drinkable.

This beer was also acquired at Mammoth Liquor. The aroma was a slight grapefruit and flowers, w/ a light fruit sweetness. The flavor was light w/ pineapple and grapefruit, pine and light fruit. The beer poured a pale yellow color w/ thin head and lacing. The mouthfeel was light and creamy.
