Nov 23, 2009 Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has strong notes of hops and citrus peal, as well as some notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, alcohol, over ripe fruits, and spices, leading to a dry grapefruity finish. Nice one. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, manadarin - orange, berry - juniper, light grapefruit. Mar 22, 2008 22oz bottle acquired in trade with riversideAK (thanks!). Poured a deep and hazy orange colo with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of citrus (oranges), floral green hops, a little earthy and a splash of caramel. Tastes of caramel, citrus, and floral hops. OK balance with the alcohol content well hidden.
