Nov 23, 2009 Bottled. A hazy nut-brown beer with a thin lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, caramel, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, caramel, alcohol, and a bit of wood, leading to a dry caramel finish. Good body.

Solid body, lots of burned caramel and a little licorice. Some hops in the finish. Really comes out more like an American style Barley Wine. Very delicious. 231109
