The aroma has notes of citrus fruits and a bit of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish combined with strong notes of lime and lemon peal. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 21, 2008 Bottle as Paranoid Pale Ale. So much hop it suggests cat pee (that’s a good thing). I say citrus/floral (not grapefruit) with some resin/pine. Color is darkish coppery with tiny bubbles. The white head ringed quickly. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is hop - starting with pine, passing to grapefruit, and back. There is some malt, but balance favors hop! Finishes crisp and dry. Pretty good APA. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
