Commercial Description:
Inspired by the Alt beers of Germany, our Amber ale has a velvety malt character and a balanced hop finish. German Pilsner and Aromatic malts contribute a fine toasty flavor that keeps this beer dry and refreshing.

Nice amber color with an off-white head, not really leaving lacing, but retains well enough. Aroma is of caramel, toffee, and some definite piney hops. Taste leads off a little hoppy while quickly into a decent caramel maltiness. Medium bodied and about medium carbonation levels. Overall, decent beer that I could have a few of during a session.

Bottle in Bishop, Ca. Medium amber. Light body; slight chewiness. Caramel-sweet malts. Very mild bitterness, with an unexciting hop profile. Kind of toastier toward the finish. OK-drinkin’ beer.

Not too much aroma. I guess I got some caramel and toffee notes and a little nuttiness. To me it was similar in aroma to Fat Tire. MIldly hoppy with an initial mild citrus sour/bitterness. Sweet and alightly toasty caramel and toffee. Pretty well balanced by the hops. Mild earthyness. A coaty mouthfeel, but not too heavy. This really reminded me of Fat Tire, but I liked it better.

Average average average. Once again, go there to ride or ski, not to hunt for beer. end of story. I’m suprised this beer is really 6.5% . . . light and boring

Bottle: Amber color, light head and lacing. Nose of fruity malts and light hops, a bit infected. Caramelly. The flavor is nice and hoppy, but still ho-hum. Moderate body, light sweetness. The finish is grassy, sweet, herby. Eh.

Bottle. Clear garnet color with an ivory head. Fruity, sulfurish aroma. Clean, toasted malt flavor with some grape and raisin flavors. Clean, dry finish.
