| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 18, 2007 Nice amber color with an off-white head, not really leaving lacing, but retains well enough. Aroma is of caramel, toffee, and some definite piney hops. Taste leads off a little hoppy while quickly into a decent caramel maltiness. Medium bodied and about medium carbonation levels. Overall, decent beer that I could have a few of during a session.

Very mild bitterness, with an unexciting hop profile. Kind of toastier toward the finish. OK-drinkin’ beer. riversideAK (2792), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 10, 2007 Not too much aroma. I guess I got some caramel and toffee notes and a little nuttiness. To me it was similar in aroma to Fat Tire. MIldly hoppy with an initial mild citrus sour/bitterness. Sweet and alightly toasty caramel and toffee. Pretty well balanced by the hops. Mild earthyness. A coaty mouthfeel, but not too heavy. This really reminded me of Fat Tire, but I liked it better. ontario102 (794), Boise, Idaho, USA

Nose of fruity malts and light hops, a bit infected. Caramelly. The flavor is nice and hoppy, but still ho-hum. Moderate body, light sweetness. The finish is grassy, sweet, herby. Eh.
