Dec 29, 2008 bottle, Danke nach Bochum! Clear brown colour, mid-sized head. Malty, hoppy with a touch of cardboard. Hints of chocolate and coffee. Quite nice.

Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Grassy, light sirupy nose. Brown amber, golden foam. Caramel base, fairly sweet, just enough grassy and herbal hops save it from becomming cloying. Surprisingly light body, light sparkly mouthfeel. Toffee aftertaste.

Aug 31, 2008 (bottle) Clear, ruby brown colour with a fluffy beige foam. Sweet, leafy toast-malty aroma with sugar-beet and caramel. Sweet flavour with a touch of roasty bitterness, medium to full bodied with a moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Roast-malty, minimal molassy taste with a touch of caramel; medium-dry, roasty and sweet-bitter finish, which is furthermore a bit slim for a brew of that abv (07.08.08).

Aug 16, 2008 Bottle: Deep chestnut-amber coloured with a smaller beige head; caramel and toasted malt in the nose, sorrounded by vegetables abd alcohol; robust sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; alcohol in the light sweet-malty and slightly bitter finish. a harsh, unharmonic Bock of modest DDR-quality.......
