(11/16/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Philadelphia. Aroma has some artificial blueberries, some soap and other bad off-aroma I’m sure how to describe. Nasty sweet artificial flavor with saccharine. Light-bodied. Horrible.

Draft. Pours clear yellow with little head. Aroma is blueberry juice. Watery body. Sweet, fresh, lightly tart flavor with some basic malt flavors. Really not that bad for a blueberry beer, I usually hate these.

hazy yellow, fine white head, streaks of lace, sweet bready blueberry aroma like a blueberry muffin fresh from the oven, lots of blueberry flavor on a generic malt base, light bitter blueberry skin character, all about the blueberry but the aroma beats the flavor

Tap @ Manayunk. Poured a clear yellow color with a white head. This beer had a strong blueberry aroma. Mixed with the malt it smelled like a blueberry muffin. That was nice since the beer was my breakfast. The flavor was also a mix of malt and blueberry with a hoppy bitter finish. The finish was crisp.

Light golden color with a subtle blueberry aroma. Taste is light and a bit sweet with blueberry and grainy flavors. OK for a fruit beer, but nothing special.

On draft (kind of). Ordered a draft and the bartender pulled a pitcher out of the fridge and filled my beer in a plastic cup. It’s things like this at Manayunk Brew Pub that continually dissapoint me. Anyway, poured a hazy gold with virtually no head. Sweet aroma with a faint touch of blueberry. Flavor was sweet with very minimal blueberry flavor.

On tap at the Manaynk Brew Pub. Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of blueberry and light wheat. Tastes of blueberry, wheat, and had a general fruitiness to it. Light honey sweetness. I found the blueberry aromas and tastes to not be over powering and done just right.

This was a nice fruit beer. The hue was golden with a tad of green/blue. The aroma had a great natural blueberry and muffiny smell which I absolutely savored. The flavor had a natural blueberry taste, with some finishing hops. The palate was smooth, and the beer very refreshing. Had the IIPA and a delicious porter not been on tap during my visit, I would have had no problem ordering another of these, or even grolwering it, for that matter.
