ConiseurofBeer (241), Downingtown, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 11, 2004 Wow! Had this at the Kennet brewfest. Definitely the star of the show. Floral citrus nose with a nice golden amber color. Sweeter than most IPAs with big citrus taste. Awesome hops attacks the tounge. Great! probably one of the hoppiest beers I’ve ever rated. More flavor than most IPAs. A must for hop heads. I gotta get more of this beer! DocLock (4175), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 5, 2005 A top notch IPA. Copper colored, with big hop nose. Hops and fruit in the taste, with some resiny finishing notes and even some floral sweetness. Marvelous. hopdog (4950), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 30, 2004 On tap at the Manayunk Brew Pub. Poured a medium amber color with an averaged sized white head. Nice hoppy aroma and tastes - citris and flowers. Has a nice sweet balance to the bitter finish. Very good beer that I would definitely get again - the best I had there today. TomDecapolis (2619), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 8, 2007 Pours a translucent golden amber with a small bubbly off white head. Aroma of orange peel, floral notes, caramel some tropical fruits and lots of fresh hops. Flavor of floral, orange pine, grapefruit, caramel and lght alcohol. Perfumey. sloth (1558), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA Oct 15, 2004 KSBF 04, The highlight of the day at the KSBF! Well for me anyway. Considering my tounge had been raped most of the day by Barrel Aged beers, it was now hop time! This beer poured with a large offwhite head, retention was surprisingly good as was the lace. Clear, dark gold color. XL hop nose, citrusy, piney and floral all at the same time. Med/full body, good mouthfeel, lightly oily. Lots of hop flavor citrus, resiny, mayre some bubblegum notes and a scant touch of malt lurking around, not much though. Nice dry, resiny hop finish. One damn nice IPA !
