JMFG (1252), Florida, USA Jul 16, 2008 Light copper color with a thin even white head. Nice citrus and pineapple aroma with a touch of caramel malts. Taste presents a thin palate and stringers of malt flavor and hops. Real mild taste vs the aroma.
santoslhalper (311), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 6, 2009 Better than their DIPA I had, but still nothing special. Clearly chock full of hops, yet balanced, but it was very light in flavor... just as with the DIPA. Alldaydrinker (489), Norwood, Massachusetts, USA Dec 25, 2008 Pours golden orange color with with whispy aggressive off white head. Nose is pungent grapefruit hops, pine, citrus and touch caramel. Initial taste is sharp, grapefruit, lots of hops, earthy, caramel. Mid palate to finish hoppy, light fruits in the background, continuing mild caramel. Palate duration is above average. Great head retention and spot lacing of the glass. Body is light to medium, slightly oily mouthfeel. A good pale ale. peter (370), homeless, Texas, USA Dec 23, 2008 Slight orange color. Nose is piney sap and grapefruit. Great west coast style flavor. Full in the mouth. Great offering. Pwn3d (633), NYC, New York, USA Oct 12, 2008 Sampled on tap at the brewpub on mainstreet. Pretty good representation of the style. Pours amber with spicy hop presence.
