Commercial Description:
In strict accordance with the German purity law of 1516, we present to you this annually brewed festbier. Traditionally brewed in March and stored deep in the caves of Germany, this beer was brought to the masses to celebrate in October. It is a Vienna-style lager with a bit more malt and hops making a malty but balanced beverage. Copper-orange in color, it sports a toasty malt backbone that wonderfully compliments itself with many of our menu items.

On tap @ the Manayunk Brew Pub. Poured a medium copper color with a smaller off white head. Light malts and hops in the aromas and tastes. A little bready with light grasses.

Copper with aroma of malt, caramel, toffee. Tastes as it smells, with finishing brown sugar and slight fruit.

My server told me it was a Vienna. Close enough. I felt this beer was a total disgrace - the worst of the eight I tried. It was so thin and watery that although there were flavors present like hops, the lack of malt body meant that this beer was like drinking flavored water.

Pours a translucent golden amber with a medium creamy off white head. Aroma of sweet grainy maltiness, some molasses and a touch of hood. Flavor was a mix of the same...malty and sweet.
