Dec 18, 2006 Fall 2006 batch. Warm golden body with a velvety white head. Fresh worty, brewday aroma with a nice nutty malt profile plus toast and sweet maple. Nice depth of German malts in the flavor with significant spicy and floral hop characters. Moderately bitter finish. A nice session beer.

Dec 23, 2008 Near red in the glass, bit odd for an ofest. Thin watery malt nose. But surprise flavor, good malt with a touch of roast and some bitterness, right amount of fullness.
