Bomber: Pours a hazy copper color with a small off-white head, light grains, grassy hops and caramel in the aroma, starts and ends lightly bitter, mild carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. A solid session beer.

Nov 18, 2009 Bottle @ Paul’s tasting for Kan’s visit. Brown pour with some white head. Some malts, light caramel notes, grainy chracteristics and bitter hops. More of a fan of the reference than the beer.

Oct 31, 2009 Bottle at Paul’s place for Kan’s visit. Pours a murky brown with a thin beige head. Musky grain. Smells just like the last Manchester beer, only with a bit of caramel. Medium bodied, lightly malty, bit of bitterness. Grainy bitter finish.

Oct 2, 2009 Cold 22oz bottle: Pours a hazy medium copper color with a small ivory head. Aroma is of sweet malts, grass, spice and caramel notes. Taste is of nice malts and mild, grassy hops with notes of spice and lemon. Thin bodied and smooth with low carbonation. Ending is of grassy hops and a very slight alcohol burn.

Sep 19, 2009 22 oz bottle courtesy of my friends from NH. Deep amber-brown pour. The nose is lightly toasty with a very clean, lagered character. A little bit of light noble hop character and a kiss of caramel. Clean and well constructed. I’d prefer it with more crackery malts and less sweet caramel, but it’s pretty good really.

Sep 18, 2009 22 oz bottle. Pours a dark copper color, like an old penny, with a 1/2" off white head that rapidly recedes. Aroma is malty with a subtle hint of chocolate and caramel. Solid palate with average amount of carbonation. Flavor is all malt with a minor hop background. Good for the money. $2.99 at a local convienence store.

Aug 17, 2009 22oz bomber purchased at McKinnon’s in Salem, NH. Pours a hazy dark copper color with a short-lived quarter inch of light khaki head. Aroma hints at chocolate, toffee, and brown sugar. Roasty chocolate/coffee is immediately noticeable with some undertones of some brown sugar-like sweetness. Caramel and toffee notes also help balance the flavor, with some very slight notes or grassy and floral hops. An easy drinker with medium body and carbonation. Subdued, but balanced and an easy drinker for sure. A solid brew.
