Very dark colour. Smooth but thin texture. Hints of smoke and roasted malts. Easy to drink.

1. On Tap at the Lord Eldon, Knutsford 10/04/2001 Dark roasted finish. 2. On Tap at the Blue Barrel, Northwich 29/12/2001 Dark and smooth with slight roasted finish. 3. On Tap at the Witton Chimes, Northwich 10/07/2005 Dark slightly sweet and fruity with a slightly dry roast finish. 4. On Tap at the Witton Chimes, Northwich 10/07/2005 Dark and sweet with a slightly dry slight roast finish. 5. On Tap at the Dog House, Prescot 30/08/2008 Beige head. Some roast aroma. Dark and smooth on the palate with a slightly bitter roast finish. 6. On Tap at the Oddfellows Arms, Winsford 17/10/2009 Some roast aroma. Beige head. Dark brown coloured and smooth on the palate with a crisp and slightly spicy roast finish.
